Movie Review - Bob Marley:One Love

Bob Marley: One Love is a musical Biopic about a well-known reggae artist and song writer Bob Marley. This movie is based about Bob Marley life and rise to fame in the 1970's to his death in 1981. This Biopic stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley and Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley Bob's wife.

In 1976 during some political problems in Jamaica Bob Marley was going to perform a peace concert. While in process of getting ready for the concert Bob Marley house was broking into by seven armed men and in that incident Rita ,Bob and others was shot and hospitalized. Bob was shot in the arm while Rita was shot in the head and survived the doctor said if it wasn't for her dreadlocks she would have been dead. After the assassination attempt Bob agreed with Rita for her to take the kids to the United States while him and his band go to England for a tour.

While in London Bob Marley and the wailers recorded the album exodus. Which include Three Little Birds and Turn your lights down low all the songs on the album was written by Bob. The exodus album became a big and known album all over the world that cause Bob and the wailers to go on an overseas tour. During tour bob had in infection on his toe which turned out to be cancer. Bob ignored the infection and wanted to keep touring. While on tour bob was so unsure if he wanted to do the peace concert in Jamaica.

Bob returned to Jamaica in 1978 while in Jamaica one of the men who shot him asked him for forgiveness and bob forgive him. Bob ended up doing the peace concert in Kingston the amount of love Bob got during the concert and the time he was in Jamaica was unbelievable. In 1981 Bob Marley passed away from the cancer that infected his toe. Bob Marleys Legacy and music will forever live on!
