Michael is a biopic of the world's most greatest musician ever Michael Jackson. This movie shows us Michael's rise to the top as a musical artist, and it also shows us his personal side. Michael was released on April 24, 2026. This biopic is on a run to be the best selling biopic of all time making close to $800 million.The movie stars Jaafar Jackson(Michael Jackson's nephew) as Michael, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, Coleman Domingo as Joe Jackson, and Juliano Vidal as young Michael.
In the mid to late 1960s, Joe Jackson formed a musical group called the Jackson Five. The group included Jermaine, Jackie, Michael, Tito, and Marlon Jackson. The group went on to perform gigs until they were discovered and signed to Motown in 1968. They tour around the world and have done so many gigs. Also had so many good albums that topped the charts. With all that success, Michael and his family then moved out of Gary, Indiana, to a mansion in Encino, California.
In the late 1970's, Michael went on to be a solo artist and signed with Epic Records. As years go on, Michael progresses as a musical artist. He released his first solo album, "Off The Wall," produced by Quincy Jones. The album has some hit singles, for example Dont stop to ' til you get enough and Rock with You. Despite the success of his solo album His dad, Joe Jackson, forced Michael to tour with the Jackson 5. While trying to maintain his career, Michael developed a skin condition called Vitiligo.
In 1981, Michael Hired Attorney John Branca and had him fire His Dad Via Fax. While watching a news clip about the Bloods and crips Michael being both gangs together for the Beat It video. The video and the single topped the charts and did very well. Michael and Branca went to New York to have MTV play his videos despite MTV not playing black musical artists very well on their.
In 1984, Michael joined the Jackson 5 for the Victory Tour. While doing a Pepsi commercial, Michael's hair caught on fire, and he suffered third-degree burns. Michael’s team sued Pepsi and won so he donated all the money to the hospital where he was. As soon as he recovered, he finished the tour and while on stage he announced that wait s his last tour with the Jackson 5. In 1988, Michael performed his first solo tour. The bad tour with a crazy crowd.
