Movie Review: Freakier Friday

Freakier Friday is a sequel to Freaky Friday that came out in 2003 which is now on Disney Plus. Freakier Friday was released in the U.S on August 8 2025 by Walt Disney Pictures. Freakier Friday stars all of the cast from the first movie such as Lindsey Lohan as Anna , Jamie Lee Curtis as her mother Tess, Chad Michael Murray as Jake and Julia butters as Harper who is Annas daughter. As of now Freakier Friday has grossed over $100 million in the United States and Canada.

Anna Coleman is now a music producer and a mother of a teenage daughter name Harper. While Harper is in school she bumped heads with her a classmate Lily Reyes. They would always get into arguments and confertations. One day their was a food fight at school started by Lily and Harper. Both of their parents was called to come for a parent teacher conference. While in the conference Lily's Dad Eric and Anna instantly fell in love with each other it was love at first sight for the two. six months later the two got engaged.

Lily and Harper was not happy to be sisters n laws they really disliked each other. At Anna bachelorette party their was a psychic reader there and Anna and Tess tried it out. Later that day Harper and Lily had a palm reading. The same night there was an earthquake and when they all woke up they switched souls. Lily switched souls with Tess and Harper switched with her mom Anna. They all then goes on to live each other regular life's. Before the switch Eric and Anna wanted their family to move to London but Harper wanted to stay in Los Angeles. So they both came up with an idea to sabotage Eric and Anna relationship so they can call off the wedding. their plan worked for a little bit. Later that day Anna was on stage performing and then there was a sudden earthquake that made all of them switch back to their regular bodies. A couple of months later Anna and Eric Got married.
